The Toscanzahoeve Team have a warm place in their hearts for underprivileged dogs
Once again this year the team from Toscanzahoeve will continue to do their bit for unwanted and underprivileged dogs.
In February for the second year in a row they visited the shelter in Aarschot, Belgium.
“We have made a real effort fundraising for this visit” explained Inge Pauwels, the founder of Toscanzahoeve and a well known behavioural therapist.
“Anyone who had unwanted or unused dog stuff at home brought it along and we took everything to the shelter”
After their visit to the shelter, Inge and her team continued on to Antwerp. There they took part in an action arranged by the Dakant vzw association, helping to feed the animals of homeless people.
Inge was very enthusiastic, ” last year this action was such a success that we did not hesitate to do it again this year. In this way we will ensure that disadvantaged and homeless people, who have a dog or cat, will also get a food package for their animals
During the last six months everyone at Toscanzahoeve participated in a raffle, the proceeds of which also go towards to this action.
“For us in Toscanzahoeve it is important to make a difference for all animals, helping the helpless and giving animals every opportunity to enjoy life” declared Inge
